It is always important to maintain your vehicle. This includes both regular servicing and regular cleaning. In addition to looking clean and new, cleaning prevents excessive wear and tear that can be caused by dust, sand, rain, salt, bird droppings, tree sap etc. Over time these substances can wear down the paintwork, leaving the car finish exposed and vulnerable to additional damages.

Tunnel Express offers a high-tech, 3-minute wash with a 24-hour Rain Guarantee. We use a state-of-the-art, soft cloth wash system, that’s gentle on paintwork. Tunnel Express is Australia’s most environmentally friendly carwash that provides customers with a premium and professional wash in minutes!

We provide a clean that is green! Helping the environment is one of our main goals. We reclaim 100% of our water and all our soaps and cleaning solutions are biodegradable and environmental friendly.

To ensure complete customers safety and protect our equipment, there are several vehicle types Tunnel Express cannot service.

These are:

  • Trucks with dual rear tyres
  • Extended height full size vans
  • Vehicles taller than 2.1 metres
  • Vehicles wider than 2.7 metres
  • Vehicles with large ladder racks
  • Open bed pickup trucks with debris, tools, or any other loose materials
  • Open bed pickup trucks with fuel tanks
  • Vehicles with permanently affixed tri-pod style mirrors

Tunnel Express understands that some vehicles may have several purposes; carrying bikes, skis or other personal items.

At Tunnel Express, the following will be the responsibility of the owner:

  • Previous damage (loose molding/emblems, blistered or peeling paint, pin striping etc.)
  • Cracked windshields
  • Aftermarket accessories such as bug shields
  • Objects on antennas (balls, flags, etc.)
  • Power antennas that won’t lower
  • Ski and bike racks
  • Racing fins and spoilers

Tunnel Express is one of the quickest and most advanced wash systems in Australia, providing a complete wash in 3 minutes, for the top wash. Note, this is for the exterior of the car only.

Tunnel Express accepts credit cards (Visa & Master Card), Club Edge cards and cash. The RFID system is used for our Wash Club customers.

Tunnel Express carwash services include powerful dryers at the end of the wash cycle to remove any water used in the final rinse. Towels are available for purchase, should you wish to give your vehicle a final wipe down.

Wash Club FAQ’s

Yes, to cancel please phone (03) 8669-1791 or email info@tunnelexpress.com.au. Please allow a minimum of 7 business days (prior to the next billing date) for cancellation to go into effect.

Yes. If you wish to change your Wash Club Membership to a different package, simply call (03) 8669 1791, or email info@tunnelexpress.com.au. Please allow a minimum of 7 business days for your package to update.

The Wash Club membership uses a special RFID sticker for a single vehicle only.

Cars can only be washed once a day at either location, between the hours of:

If you’re not 100% satisfied, let us know what the problem is, and we will fix it right away.

If it rains within 24 hours of washing your car, you can bring it back and wash it for FREE. Note, this only applies to the Protect carwash service.
